03/25/04: Congratulations to the 2004 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductees

Performers Jackson Browne, Prince, Bob Seger, George Harrison, The Dells, ZZ Top and Traffic were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on March 15 at the Waldorf Astoria hotel in New York City. The ceremonies opened with a three-song set by Prince who performed with his fabulous nine-piece band. Later in the ceremony Prince paid his respects to Inductee George Harrison with an incredible guitar solo on “While My Guitar Gently Weeps.”

Rolling Stone Magazine founder Jann S. Wenner received a Lifetime Achievement Award in the Non-Performer Category. Wenner began Rolling Stone in a San Francisco printer’s loft in 1967. He is also a co-founder of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
